Bible Note: Greetings Wings on Fire! Without really knowing you, it seems from your posts that you are confused about what the Doctrine of the Trinity is really all about. Here is a link that might help: http://www.gotquestions.org/Trinity-Bible.html The short version is this: 1) The Bible is clear that there is only One God, not two or three. 2) The Bible is also clear that three distinct Persons are all called God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Therefore, the Doctrine of the Trinity is saying that there are three distinct Person (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) who make up this One God. So, there is no problem with the New Testament saying the Jesus created everything and the Old Testament saying that God created everything, since Jesus is God. Read the short article above and see if it clarifies your understanding of the Trinity any. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
