Bible Note: Hi MJH Here's another to add the three reasons that Bradk has given not to put ourselves BACK under the law. because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; Romans 3:20-24 Did you get that? being JUSTIFIDE as a GIFT by His GRACE in the REDEMTION which is in CHRIST JESUS and another You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? Did you suffer so many things in vain--if indeed it was in vain? So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Even so Abraham BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS. Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE BLESSED IN YOU." So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer. For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM." Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH." Gal 3:1-11 My question is, do you abide by ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM-?? Really-?? because if you don't abide be ALL the things written in the book of the law to perfome them, then you are as it is written CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT-!! Well, what is it? Do you? Can you honestly say that you abide by ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM-?? Because if you think you can, then you better do it ALL-!! |
