Bible Question:
According to the version of NASB and Amplified, in john 1:1-2 shows that: 'the Word was with God, and the Word was God.' My question will be based on this part. I could not understand in this part of verses because my English grammar knowlegde told me it was impossible to use the term in here 'the Word was God.' and 'the Word was with God.'. |
Bible Answer: From grammatical viewpoint, the only way to understand this concept is to acknowledge that Jesus IS God. He IS the Word of God and He (Jesus) came to this earth to live and die among us mankind so He could emphathize with His Father's creation as High Priest of this dispensation. Hope this helps and God bless. --Rowdy |
