Bible Question:
According to the version of NASB and Amplified, in john 1:1-2 shows that: 'the Word was with God, and the Word was God.' My question will be based on this part. I could not understand in this part of verses because my English grammar knowlegde told me it was impossible to use the term in here 'the Word was God.' and 'the Word was with God.'. |
Bible Answer: eveready, This article at this linh should help you a lot. Logos is the Greek work translated as Word in John. It has a different meaning from another Greek word that translates to word in the everyday literal sense. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/09328a.htm Emmaus |
