Subject: What is God's will for you? |
Bible Note: Dear inmyheart, Thanks so much for your view (: The written word of God has had tremendous impact on my life. May I share with you a favorite verse from Psalms? Ps. 119:105 relates, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. What this means to me is that not only is His Word a lamp shining far away to show my feet the bearing to follow, as would a lighthouse to a ship or an airport landing light for planes, but also, it is a light to light up the path my feet are on to prevent a trip or fall, such as a hiker on a dark trail in the woods might be blessed with a ray of sunshine to illuminate an exposed root, partly concealed, that most probably otherwise would have been apt to cause a stumble, if not a twisted ankle, if it were stepped on or tripped over. Again, thank you for your blessed insight, Peace. Tim |
