Bible Question: Do you agree that to be a Christian is to be a disciple of Jesus and to not only read the Bible but to put Jesus's example to practice? If your answer is yes, can you honestly say you do this? |
Bible Answer: Good question, Ben M! Yes, I agree: to be a Christian (and bear part of Jesus Christ's name "Christ" in our title "Christian"), we must be a truly devoted disciple of Christ, that is, our whole lives must reflect that Jesus Christ is our Savior in everything that we do and say.. I can honestly say that the Lord has worked through me in many ways! Even on this Forum! The Lord has helped me to be His example in many ways of this life of mine (as long as I give the Lord the credit) by leading many to Christ, passing out Bibles at will, helping the poor, visiting the sick and encouraging the down-trodden. Yes, I can honestly say that my life is pure and without anger, and the Lord has protected me from going astray in sin! However, I am not perfect, and I continue to strive to be perfect for my Lord. Blessings, Nolan |
