Bible Question: Why does God allow a total evil being like the Devil in the realm of human beings? He was GIVEN more power and dominion than us on this planet. Why does the Devil recieved such a priviledged treatment like this? Why does he have all this power and authority? Why doesn't God get rid of him at least for our sake? |
Bible Answer: Dear Finder :: Your question is an excellent one and how I wish I could render an excellent answer to it! The problem of evil is a subject which laymen and theologians alike have pondered over down through the years, only to conclude that man is limited indeed when he seeks to know fully the mind of the infinite, transcendent God. ...... But God has revealed in His word much about evil, Satan, the fall of man and the way to redemption. I believe you will find an article at the web site, gotquestions.org, particularly helpful. Here's the URL: http://www.gotquestions.org/God-vs-Satan.html ..... While you are at this web site, you may wish to poke around among a large number of articles on evil, Satan, the fall of man, sin, redemption, etc. Just use their search engine to explore the site. I've found this web site to be handy, useful, doctrinally and theologically sound, and user friendly. I hope you like it and receive from it at least a measure of help with your question.
