Bible Question: Hi everyone, greetings and blessings who can shed some light on just who Lysanias is. He's mentioned only once in the New Testament by Luke. Luke 3:1 is the only reference in the NT. He's mentioned by Josephus who states that Lysanias succeeded his father, Plolemaeus, as the king of Chalcis. I hope this infomation helps shed some light on Lysanias and just who he is. |
