Bible Question: In Acts 1:13-15 it speaks of the WOMEN and Mary the mother of Jesus who were present at the Passover. Who were the women? Is there any history? |
Bible Answer: You mean the women present about the time of Pentecost I think, not Passover, (although they may have been in jerusalem then also) in Acts 1:13-15. That was after the Ascension. Probably he same women referred to in Luke 23:49 and 24:10 only a few of whom are named. See also Luke 8:1-3. Aside from the few named in those verses we have no names from scripture. See also John 19:25; Matthew 27:55-56; Mark 16:40-41. |
