Bible Question: Where can I find the verse about Christians not being offended by non-Christians? |
Bible Answer: sisou, This is an issue many Christians struggle with, myself included. My favorite passage to refer to is Luke 18, the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector. In this story, Jesus gives us a stern warning against spiritual self-righteousness. It is good to Praise and thank God for saving us, but we are getting ourselves in trouble if we look down on the unsaved. Were we not all lost at one point or another? I cannot bring the reference to mind right now, but there is also the verse: "Whatsoever ou do unto the least of my people, that you do unto me" We are all his people, whether we are saved or not. (Also see Romans 15:1) I hope this information aids your search! In His Grip - Phil |
