Bible Question: Greetings - I found it interesting that in one account Mary is criticized by her sister and in the other account (John 12) she is criticized by an outsider. Both attempt to "rob" Mary. Are these the same suppers? |
Bible Answer: Hi Mom; Good question, and good point also that they "attempted" to rob mary; as our Lord put it in v 41-42 But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Note where her focus is, not when or what or where but "who". Don't know if it is the same supper by the way. God's peace stj |
