Bible Question: Can one truly be saved who has doubts? I have have asked Jesus to be in my life and have asked Him for a stronger faith. However, I still lack conviction of the truth. |
Bible Answer: I always had doubts concerning my salvation until I read Romans 7:15 for the dozenth time over a period of 30 years. Rom 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. Doubts represent a lack of faith. Knowing the word will strengthen your faith. Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Personally, I was so confused by "hearing" what others had to say about the word that I could have been lost, if I hadn't gotten in to the word for myself. We all have doubts (weak points in faith) Read my profile. God Bless George |
