Subject: Holy Spirit baptism and tongues |
Bible Note: To Richilou and EdB, thank you for your interchange on Holy Spirit baptism and speaking in tongues. As I stated in my question, I am trying to neither prove nor disprove the matter, but rather to simply continue my search for the truth in God's word. Nolan, I also appreciate your response, but, praise God, my salvation is not in question, simply my wisdom. Your responses were, however, helpful. I had been focusing on the book of Acts and I Corinthians 12 and 14 to the point where I had become a bit miopic and had completely overlooked the 13th chapter which I now believe holds much of the answer to my question, especially verses 1 and 2, and 8 through 12. Further comments would be appreciated. God bless you. |
