Bible Question: In the Old Testament in the book of Lev. 11. It speaks of certain foods of all kind that we as christians (believers) were not suppose too eat. Is there any place in the new testament that informs us of any foods that we can or can not eat? |
Bible Answer: Melissa :: Leviticus chapter 11 does not treat of foods that are forbidden to Christians. The Old Testament dietary laws never were intended to apply to anyone other than the nation of Israel. Jesus declared all foods clean (see Mark 7:19). Other New Testament passages that touch upon dietary matters are Acts 10 and Romans 14. --Hank |
