Bible Question:
so then when Yah'shua said that heaven and earth would pass before one jot or tittle passed from the law, are you saying that when he died, that was heaven and earth passing? Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. I don't know about you, but I think that being called least isn't a good thing. Or are you saying he wouldn't destroy them as long as he was alive, but would destroy them at death. Still, heaven and earth are still here, so not the law and prophets? |
Bible Answer: Face, I prefer not to play scriptural ping-pong so suffice it to say that I will, "... avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless." Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
