Bible Question (short): Why related it to the feeding of 5000 |
Question (full): Why did Mark specifically make this remark "for they had not gained any insight from the incident of the loaves...". How significant was the miracle of the incident of the loaves in assocation with their situation on the sea when they saw Jesus walking on it and later on the sea calmed after He was onboard. Similar situation happened before (Mark 4:35-41). Why did Mark not associate this incident (Mark 6:45-52) with Mark 4:35-41, but recalled the feeding of 5000 instead. P.S. I understand the disciples were hard hearted. My point is just not understanding why Mark (John) made such association with the incidents. Thanks for your help. Shalom Azure |
