Bible Question:
HOW DID SOME OF THE PHARISEES RESPOND TO THE MIRACLE? WHY? MARK 3:1-6 |
Bible Answer: Greetings 1dltlshines! Jesus proved that He was Lord of the Sabbath, and the Pharisees responded in hostility (first seen in Mark 2:6-7), since the Jewish tradition prescribed that aid could be given to the sick on the Sabbath day only when the person's life was threatened, which obviously was not the case here. So the Pharisees were more concerned about the law of the Sabbath being "broken" rather than the Revelation (evidenced by the miracle) that stood right there before them. Blessings to you, Nolan |
