Bible Question (short): How can I help without scaring her away? |
Question (full): I have a co-worker and a friend that suffers from depression. I know what she is going through because I was there my self before I found Jesus. I tell her when she's feeling down or having bad thoughts to pray and ask God to help her through it. I have even given her my phone number and told her to call me anytime she needs someone to talk to. I pray for her all the time. She told me one time that she can't pray to God because she's a bad person and she feels He wouldn't want to help her. I've told her many times that God loves all his children and He will never let her down. All she has to do is open her heart to him. I'm afraid for her because she has tried suicide. Is there anything else I can do to help her realize she's loved without scaring her away? |
