Bible Question: mark 1:2 help me analyze the healing of the paralyzed man i thing that its about people coming to jesus |
Bible Answer: Dear cantymantwo, I believe you meant Mark 2:1. This is one of the many touching scenes in the scriptures that I love. Nothing said in the scripture that the paralyzed man played an active role. He was totally in the passive mode in his salvation. He could not help himself nor come to Christ. (Eph 2:8-9) Next was the four men carrying him to the Lord. Their faith and love (v. 5) strove them to overcome all the difficulties and disturbances lied ahead in order to bring the needy soul to be saved by Jesus. This always makes me ponder the way, the mind when we are in the mission of preaching the gospel or bringing the unbelieve to Christ. Just my 2 cents. Shalom Azure |
