Subject: why did jesus think God had forsaken him

You made the statement, "The reason for this is that God is Holy, God cannot be close to sin hence the reason WE need forgiveness so when Jesus died he became sin he was covered with it."

Can you provide any scriptural backing for saying God can't be close to sin? I thought while we were yet in sin God reached out for us? Also isn't Satan the empitome of sin? And isn't he the accuser of the saints? Doesn't he have to gain entrance into God's presence to accuse us?
