Bible Question: WHAT DOES THIS SCRIPTURE MEANS THEY SAID UNTO HIM GRANT UNTO US THAT WE MAY SIT ONE ON THY RIGHT HAND AND THE OTHER ON THY LEFT HAND IN THY GLORY |
Bible Answer: Greetings! I agree with what the NIV Study Bible has to say regarding the context of this request yet how often do we, as believers, ask for the same? We disguise our desire for attention and authority by false piety - publically cuddling up to Jesus so that others will give their approval of our "ministry." That that old nemesis pride is very clever! When one's motivation is for Jesus to be exalted and glorified, requests like this will not be made or sought. mommapbs |
