Bible Question (short): Mark 10:24 ending change, why? |
Question (full): In Mark 10:24 the NKJ reads at the end of the verse "Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the Kingdom of God." After checking a number of more recent translations the later part listed above is no longer there. None of the translations I have had a side note or any explanation for the removal. Was this added by a scribe before the 1611 KJV? I am now looking for other older translations for some hint. Does anyone know FOR SURE why this verse was changed? Please give your source of information. Thanks justme |
