Subject: Jesus and Children as Paedobaptism? |
Bible Note: Steve I thought bowler asked the first part as a question and was not making a supposition or speculation; "He seems to be saying, that children, at least in His day, were receiving the kingdom of God, were getting saved?" I don't understand how you see that as speculation, its a question. Then bowler asked ""How come then, we now do not permit children to be baptized?" It is a fact that there are many churches that do not baptize children before some age of accountablity which varies from church to church. I do not believe, we, referred to anyone on the forum, it seems that perhaps bowler was generalizing a bit about the word we. There are a lot of other people on the forum here and they seem to know a lot about various things in church history. How come then bowler would have to interact with a paedobaptist to get an answer? 1 Peter 3:8 To sum up, all of you be harmonius, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit. tumbleweed, God's Own |
