Bible Question: who is my messenger? |
Bible Answer: Welcome to the Forum......................... Greetings Truth4U! Mark 1:1-2 is composed of two quotes from two different Old Testament prophets. Mark 1:2 is a a quote from Mal. 3:1 and Mark 1:3 is a quote from Is. 40:3. Mark applies them as reference to John the Baptist. Thus, the messenger referred to is John the Baptist. He is the one who came before Christ to prepare the way for Christ. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
