Bible Note: Problem is many can seemingly be in accord with both credal test and the moral test and still be false. Many deflect worship from God to Creeds or Theology, in an effort to further their agenda. They claim the are God's agents but in fact the are the agents of a philosophy the rings true to THEIR intellect or logic. They have their favorite scripture passages that seemingly support their position but to accept their teaching one must ignore overall premise of scripture. Likewise they have learned to rebuke any passage that disagrees with their agenda. They use such arguments as this word doesn't really mean this or that, when we take this passage in light of the society of the time it really means this or that. To accept the passage at face value is an afrront to man's intellect or logic. In other words they, using their intellect and logic, define God and if anyone worships God that does not fit to their definition then that person is wrong. This is explained by tearing down the nature of the person. 2 Cor. 11:4 |
