Bible Question:
terrib Thank you for your response I appreciate it. However I am still a little confused. Would you mind exploring this with me a bit further? If you must purpose to go through the small gate before accessing the narrow path that leads to salvation, what is Jesus saying we must actually do? What action of ours constitutes entering through the small gate? Once we have done so how can we ensure we stay on this path to salvation? I note your comment about thenarrow path only has One Way but I can not see where that is substantiated in the Bible. Please would you mind helping me further? Thank you |
Bible Answer: People complicate what God really wants us to do. The narrow gate is simple: Abiding in Jesus. Following His word. DENYING OURSELVES. Romans 12:2 is necessary to really get it. We can't apply the world's logic to this. It won't work. The Holy Spirit reveals God's will to every believer who asks. The narrow gate is just doing it. |
