AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 6:5 ¶ "Also, when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to pray [publicly] standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets so that they may be seen by men. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, they [already] have their reward in full. |
Subject: What about the Silent Prayer |
Bible Note: Matthews 6:5-6 Praying in secret doesn't necessarily mean pray silently- It means do not pray for show- meaning the only time you pray is when there is an audiance, we ought to have intimacy with God.#2 In Romans 10:9-10 it states if we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths........... It is one thing to believe something however God knew the importance of our words. What you consider a silent prayer is really meditation! |
