Have you forgiven those who caused the loss of life on Tuesday? Explain. Should the church or nation let the family members of the suspected terrorists know -we have forgiven the their family members -we hold no grudge against them -God loves them and so do we -we are available to meet their needs -we are praying for them ... Or do I forgive Palestinians gleefully dancing in the streets over the loss of innocent American life? Not yet. If and when the above person(s) a) repent and ask for forgiveness; b) change their present intentions to murder Americans; and c) cease and desist their murderous attacks, then and only then will I be obligated to forgive them. |
