AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 5:37 "But let your statement be, 'Yes, yes' or 'No, no' [a firm yes or no]; anything more than that comes from the evil one. [Lev 19:12; Num 30:2; Deut 23:21] |
Bible Question (short): Where does God say he always says Y or N |
Question (full): Which verse in the Bible says that God always gives his answer with a yes or a no and that anything else comes from Satan (or evil, I can't remember)? I would much like to know. If it's any help, I'm kind of sure the verse is found the Books of the Law (though I'm not 100 percent sure). Thanks to all. |
