Subject: What does water baptism do? |
Bible Note: Who was it then that told men to be baptized in water then? You seem to think I made this up in my own mind and that I'm trying to force it on people, I would not say one word about it if the bible didn't speak on it, but it does. You love to go to Acts 16:29-31, then you end the point at vs. 31, but the bible tells us what the jailer was told to believe, the jailer didn't know who Jesus was, so Paul had to tell the jailer who Jesus was. vs.32 says "And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. What we need to know is (WHAT DID PAUL TELL THE JAILER AND HIS FAMILY) did he tell them to be baptized in his message, if not, why did they go the same hour of the night? And you all say it's not necessary, you tell Paul that what he did was not necessary! If you were there, would you have baptized the jailer and his family that night? From what you tell me, you wouldn't do it. No dout it was cold that night, but they all went out and were baptized. vs.34 They rejoiced! |
