Bible Question: I am new to the understanding of Christian faith. I donot understand if Jesus was devine. What are the evidences of it, and how does Jesus differ in his "divinity" from other Prophets before him? |
Bible Answer: The primary evidence is the Resurrection and the complete change in the apostles and disciples after the Resurrection and Pentecost. Before the Resurrection they were frightened and in hiding. Afterwards they were fearless and willing to die proclaiming the gospel of Jesus rather than deny him. No other founding religious figure in the world before or since has claimed divinity for himself or has risen from the dead. Emmaus |
