Subject: Why did the Savior Dread the Cup? |
Bible Note: Hi all, There is another verse I think of relating to this. Mt 20:22 "But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I am about to drink? They say unto him, We are able. 23 He saith unto them, My cup indeed ye shall drink" These disciples were also (mostly) brutally killed. Which ever way you look at it, Jesus had a most difficult job to do - I can only imagine I would have called on those legion of angels! Love in Christ, Mark |
