Bible Note: Hi Mommapbs, It's good to hear from you! As far as I can tell in my studies, the 70th week, which we commonly (mistakenly, in my view) refer to as the "Tribulation", is meant for Israel. I do not see the church spoken of in any of the scriptures that refer to the 70th week. The church has been promised not to undergo the wrath of God, and the wrath of God begins immediately after the beginning of the 70th week. Myself, I see the church in Revelation 7:9-10 "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb." I think the seals are opened immediately following the beginning of the 70th week, that the church is removed and the 144,00 Jews are sealed, and the judgment of God begins. Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." There is much more detail I can give if you wish me to, either on this forum, or privately (you have my e-mail). Again, I enjoy hearing from you, and God bless you! Love in Christ, Mark |
