Bible Question: Jesus said "Assuredly,I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you" Matt 21:31 This makes me believe that Jesus is saying their answer was the wrong answer. Can you exlpain the answer that Jesus gave them? |
Bible Answer: No their answer was right but their life was wrong. They were in fact the second brother. They said yes to the father but didn't do what he asked. Harlots and tax collectors that realize their error and ask for forgiveness would enter the Kingdom before these stiff necked hypocrites would. How many people do you know that will tell you they beleive in Jesus but live like hell itself. These are the pharisees of today. They have said yes I will live for Christ but in fact they don't.
