Bible Note: Matthew 19:18 (NKJV) 18 He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, "'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,' Much as been said against other believers, some accusations are true but others are not. It makes me wonder how Christians can make an accusation without knowing it is factual without having evidence that what they are saying is the truth. I believe some of this stems from a lack of critical thinking, they willingly accept something that supports or bolsters their ready preexisting prejudices rather seeking the truth I’m sure some simply don’t know what they believe is false but some claim to have done extensive research and have proof but when confronted to produce that proof they can’t. They then use various methods to smoke screen the fact they can’t provide proof, this appears as sarcasm, insults, mockery, and even censorship. Is this really what the Church of Jesus Christ has become? Is this how we treat each other? Is this really, doing unto others as we would have them do unto us. Think about it |
