AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 15:6 he is not to honor his father or his mother [by helping them with their need].' So by this you have invalidated the word of God [depriving it of force and authority and making it of no effect] for the sake of your tradition [handed down by the elders]. |
Subject: Is Catholic considered false religion? |
Bible Note: This is where I have to differ with you greatly. Your Post, "The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Saviour of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin." Born again Christians don’t believe that the sin issue was dealt with until Christ said, while hanging on the cross, (TELEO) it is finished. John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. If Jesus had not died on the cross for us we wouldn’t have the opportunity for salvation even though the Word was born into the human race as a man. What Mary did wouldn’t have made a bit of difference? We praise God for giving us His Son, we don’t thank Mary for having him! The major difference, as I see it, is the emphasis, I want to give all the praise glory and credit to God, where as Catholics kind of like to spread it around a little. To each his own, have a nice day, CDBJ |
