AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 13:31 ¶ He gave them another parable [to consider], saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; [Mark 4:30-32; Luke 13:18, 19] |
Bible Question: Is there any difference in the phrase Jesus used "Kingdom of Heaven" and "Kingdom of God?" Are these terms synomymous? |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, Jandune, Matthew is the only Gospel writer to use "Kingdom of Heaven" and the others use "Kingdom of God" ... even in the same passage like the Parable of the Mustard Seed (Matt 13:31-32, Mark 4:30-32, Luke 13:18-19). Matthew does use the latter. So I say they are the same. Searcher |
