Subject: Is saying you are a god unforgiveable? |
Bible Note: Dear holyliving I fear you’re treading on thin ice. To say that John 12:36 somehow says that we “participate in being God” is quite wrong. To say that we become “sons of God” does not mean that we “participate in being God”. We are adopted as sons and daughters of God, but that by no means puts us on an equal level with God. God may dwell in us but this does not mean that we “participate in being God”. Understand that this is not a personal attack. I’m just trying to let you know that you’re on shaky ground.
