AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 12:32 "Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit [by attributing the miracles done by Me to Satan] will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. [Mark 3:29; Luke 12:10] |
Subject: Who committs the unpardonable sin? |
Bible Note: New Creature, no, I know you didn't cite Hebrews as a reference, but Stultis the Fool did (Post 128090). In attempting to answer your question, he wrote a whole treatise on the unpardonable sin using various passages in Hebrews as references. I believe this interpretative approach wrong and the conclusions eisegetic. This is what I was alluding to when I refuted that the passage in Hebrews has anything to do with the unpardonable sin that Jesus describes in the Gospels. I should have been more specific. Please pardon my bumbling ambiguity :-) --Hank |
