Bible Question (short): prophet, Prophet, or One who is more... |
Question (full): Luke 2:76 talks about John the baptist thus, "And you, child will be called the prophet of the Most High". In John 1:21 the baptist denied that he was the Prophet. Was indeed this One, "One who is more than a Prophet." Would anyone like to agree with my interpretation? Matthew 11:9, "But why did you go out? To see a Prophet? Yes, I say to you, and One who is more than a Prophet. This is the One about whom it is written..." |
