Bible Question (short): How does one "take offense at" the Lord? |
Question (full): What are some ways that one can "take offense at" the Lord? It is interesting to note the use of the word stumbling in the Amphlified version. As I did a search on the word stumble, I came across this reference where Jesus is called "A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE"; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed." 1 Peter 2:8 I'd appreciate your comments! |
