Bible Question:
Hebrews10:26-31 I have a question that has been bugging me for a while. I've been off smoking, drugs and alcohol for a while now and I don't plan to go back to it. But in the past when I would go to my home town I would fall right back into it again. Now I avoid my old life like the plauge, but now I feel like I've gone to far. I know I willfully sinned and I am prepared to face God for what I have done to him. I was just wondering your opinions. Is it to late for me? |
Bible Answer: Greetings, You are to the point where you know you need help and that is where Jesus comes in. The apostle Paul was the worst sinner of all and look what Jesus did for him. 1 Tim. 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Christ has a plan for your life but you must totally trust Him for it to be effective. God wants to have a personal relationship with you through the person of His Son if you are willing to put you life in His Hands. Mark 2:17 And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners." . God has a gift for you and it resides within the person of His Son. John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. 18"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
