Bible Note: Greetings Hopalong! Thanks for the link! The author, though differing on the quality of watered down wines, does agree though that it was a normal practice to dilute the wine before drinking it. He simply disagrees with some of the ratio's cited, thinking that 2 or 3 to 1 was probably the norm. So, this article would support, not contradict, that wine was normally diluted with water.
