Question (full): EdB, I guess I'm just having trouble with the wording of the scripture? Your answers makes sense, but each time I go back and read 10:23 literally, it looks like Jesus was saying to the apostles they would face persecution, but that He, Jesus would return before the apostles reached all the cities in Israel. How do we get they wouldn't run out of cities from that statement? I appreciate all the work you're putting into your answers and am just trying to reach an understanding that matches what the verse says, Chusarcik |
