Bible Note: Dear Hank, You have toched upon something people don't consider: did Judas, and Ananais and Sapphira, indeed go to hell? All it says is Judas hung himself, and Ananais and Sapphira were struck dead. One can assume they went to hell, but nowhere is it explicitly mentioned. Would God strike them down, if they were indeed heaven-bound? Yes. He does it every day. Now, consider the man in John ch.5, sitting by the pool of Bethesda. Jesus healed him, then found him later and said, "sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon thee." What is that worse thing? We don't know for sure, it doesn't say. And according to some here, if it doesn't say it, we can't assume it. God is my strength and power, and He makes my way perfect!! 2nd samuel 22 |
