Bible Question: Please explain the significance of the number of generations. (14) |
Bible Answer: Well, off the top of my head, I can only provide one solution. 14 is 7 times 2. The number 7 is often described as "Divine Perfection". 7 Days in a week and so on. With that in mind, the significance of the number 14 in terms of generations may signify the perfection of the Messiah's arrival. Other than the excuse, "God wanted it that way," that's the only other explaination I can offer. Jesus Loves You! Jesusman |
