Bible Question:
Since God had already told Balaam not to curse the Isrealites, why did he go back to ask again the second time? Was this why God was angry with him? Why did God tell him to go? Cant we ask God a second time if we are in doubt? |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, Kudos, I think if you read the Bible, you'll find your answers ... except for the last one. I have found doing my own study helps me the most. Did Balaam doubt? Gideon did (Jud 6:17ff). If something is in the Bible ... it doesn't mean we can follow the same pattern, unless God says so, in the Bible. Be ready for a no, even if you ask more than once (1 Cor 12:1ff). While God knows our needs, He still wants to hear us (Mat 6:8). Searcher |
