Bible Note: Hello tlcsal Context is everything. The Lord Jesus is saying in John 5:45 that Moses--actually his words (the Law)--will accuse those listening to Him, because Moses was pointing to Christ, but they would not believe. Rev 12:9-10 is speaking of Satan as accuser of believers. These are two different situations. Even though both accuse in order to demonstrate blame, in one case it's deserved (John 5) and in the other (Rev 12) it's not. Steve |
