Bible Question:
Emmaus- Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I was looking for Leviticus 5:17 and had missed 4:22. My followup question to this is: Do you think we, and our leaders, are accountable for sins that we commit in ignorance? For example, if we act upon a falsehood, not knowing it is a falsehood, are we guilty of an repercussions that may come as a result? love and peace, -jini |
Bible Answer: JINI, I suppose theremay be levels of ignorance and ignorance may mitigate the degree of responsability and punishment, but not releive us ofallaresponsability and consequence.Adam and Eve were deceived and acted on a falsehood, but was it in total ignorance? And we they held accountable? Emmaus |
