Bible Question: explain Leviticus chapter 1 |
Bible Answer: My answer............................................................ Welcome to the forum Phillips, In the Old Testament, the people of Israel would sacrifice animals to God. The first chapter of Leviticus is simply instructions on how to do some of those ceremonies. In the New Testament and today, we no longer sacrifice animals, because Jesus allowed Himself to be our sacrifice, once for all time. Because of Jesus sacrifice, we can all be made acceptable to the Lord and have a good relationship with Him. |
